Kinect to Brekel Body to UE4
- Enable LiveLink Plugin (Beta version doesn't support network streaming)
- Import the Brekel skeleton FBX file
- Create a blueprint for the Brekel character and attach to the Live Link
I went through this process and it works for the Brekel character, but wasn't able to get a retarget working to the UE4 mannequin. There is very little info out there, and I wasn't able to find anyone with steps to follow. Some noted that the Brekel coordinates are different than Unreal, so probably need to do an adjustment of the retarget.
At this time I don't believe Brekel Body is a viable solution to do Mocap for Unreal Engine.
Update 6/12/20
Here is the bonemap I am using for the humanoid retarget:

The location of the bones is correct, but still some show stoppers. The proportions are different between the Brekel Skeleton and the Mannequin. This results in pretty major self collisions, arms are inside body etc. I'm also getting weird rotations on the hand that makes the hands spin.
